The Intel Perceptual Computing SDK was a pioneering software development kit released in 2012–2013 that aimed to shift human-computer interaction away from traditional keyboards and mice toward Natural User Interfaces (NUI). It allowed developers to integrate depth-sensing, gesture recognition, facial analysis, and voice commands directly into consumer software.
